David W. Stafford, DDS, is the third full-time dentist in the office. A native of Richmond, He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree of Science with a focus in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He graduated from the VCU School of Dentistry in 2013. He practiced dentistry in Chatham for three years before moving to Martinsville.

Dr. Stafford is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He’s served in the Bishopric, Elders Quorum and Young Men’s Organization. He’s currently serving as the adult Sunday School teacher in the Martinsville Ward.
Dr. Stafford enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and family time. In his spare time, you will find him walking or biking one of the many trails in the Martinsville area or other outdoor activities with his family. As an Eagle Scout, he’s mentored his sons and other scouts as they’ve reached the rank of Eagle Scout. He has taken part in several Mission of Mercy projects in Virginia. He is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. On the state level Dr. Stafford has served on the Ethics and Caring Dentist Committee. He currently serves on the Virginia Dental Association Board of Directors and serves on the American Dental Association House of Delegates. His leadership in the profession has been recognized by his peers
